At MicuRx, we are committed to the development of novel antibiotics which combat resistant infections. We have recruited a strong team of qualified individuals both in the US and in China, which includes seasoned executives that have extensive successful experience in the discovery and development of antibiotic drugs.
Medical degree, preferably with board certification in infectious disease, is mandatory.
Minimum of 10 years of experience conducting or leading clinical trials is preferable.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but principle investigators who have experience in infectious disease clinical trials will be considered.
The Chief Medical Officer will serve as key member of the Leadership Team to drive the on-going global clinical programs to successful completion and regulatory submissions, and the clinical development and overall development strategy of the company’s current and future pipeline. This individual will be accountable for global clinical trials and operations, actively participate in strategic planning, contribute to in/out licensing discussions, and co-lead medical communications planning for publications, conferences, key opinion leaders, and advisory boards. This person also partners with medical affairs and clinical staff in our commercial organization to support development of clinical data for medical information use.
This person should be an experienced leader who provides cross-functional leadership and oversees US clinical and regulatory staff, contracted staff, consultants, and CROs. This person will collaborate closely with MicuRx research colleagues. The ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-country, virtual environment is critical to success.
